Hey everyone,
Head up to okoboji for the long weekend! We’ll be playing there Friday through Sunday night. Get there early because it is always packed on the holiday weekends up there! Also, on Sat and Sun night the band Oxygen out of Omaha will be opening up the show for us. They are a great band and I’m sure some of you have seen them a couple times anyway.
Lastly, the JDB will be releasing a five song EP we’re calling Mix Tape on June 13th at People’s Court in Des Moines. It’s kind of a prequel to our full length album that will be released later this summer. The songs are all new and only one will be appearing in an alternate version on both records. We picked the songs for the EP because they all fit the Mix Tape theme the best. There’s a countryish one, a poppy one, a good old loud garage rock song, an acoustic tune, and a big trippy finale… The full length is straight up rock n roll album with a pinch of JDB twang. Also, some cool guest singers ;)
Anyway, we’re back on the road for the summer and have lots of fun stops in the books so keep checking our calendar… which I will be updating for the summer months asap… sorry about that. Lazy. -jd
