Last week was full of some great shows! Mick’s was packed so thanks to all you Omaha people that found time to make it out! I hope you enjoy the new Mix Tape EP. Byrons in Pomeroy was also a blast! It was the first small town bar we’ve played at where the crowd wanted to hear something other than 80’s covers! Thanks for opening minds Byron! Then we did a last minute show with Cross Canadian Ragweed at People’s. They’ve been one of my favorite bands for a long time. For awhile I thought they were going nashville on me and getting soft but they totally proved me wrong! Man, they rocked! Cody is a killer guitar player too for those you who dig a mean lead! Thanks for the hook up Tom. Why am I in such a good mood… weird.
This week should be a good one too! …provided it doesn’t rain. We’ll be in Okoboji at the gardens on Saturday and we’ll be bringing a new sound guy along for you girls to eyeball… Then on Saturday we will be headlining the DM Arts Festival downtown. There are lots of great bands playing but don’t burn yourself out before our set! We’ll have our new EP with us for sale along with new t’s and our past CDs. Its a family friendly event so bring your kids and rest assured that I won’t cuss up a storm and make you regret it! See you soon! -jd
