Hey, just letting you all know that I’ve posted three songs from our upcoming EP “Mix Tape.” Check ‘em out! June 13th is the release date and we’ll be doing a show at People’s Court in Des Moines to start things off. Mark it on your calendar and tell your friends, especially a few that don’t know about us.
This EP is just a prequel for our full length which will be out at the end of summer or early fall. stay tuned….

Clive after 5 and stuff…

Hello there,
This week we’ll be in town playing at Clive after 5… depending on the weather. I have been told that sometimes they use 7 Flags as a rain out location but have yet to confirm. See you at the show.
Thanks to all of those who came out to The Gardens over Memorial Day weekend too! It was a great party, three days back to back up there! I’m still barely walking…

Memorial Day and Stuff…

Hey everyone,
Head up to okoboji for the long weekend! We’ll be playing there Friday through Sunday night. Get there early because it is always packed on the holiday weekends up there! Also, on Sat and Sun night the band Oxygen out of Omaha will be opening up the show for us. They are a great band and I’m sure some of you have seen them a couple times anyway.
Lastly, the JDB will be releasing a five song EP we’re calling Mix Tape on June 13th at People’s Court in Des Moines. It’s kind of a prequel to our full length album that will be released later this summer. The songs are all new and only one will be appearing in an alternate version on both records. We picked the songs for the EP because they all fit the Mix Tape theme the best. There’s a countryish one, a poppy one, a good old loud garage rock song, an acoustic tune, and a big trippy finale… The full length is straight up rock n roll album with a pinch of JDB twang. Also, some cool guest singers
Anyway, we’re back on the road for the summer and have lots of fun stops in the books so keep checking our calendar… which I will be updating for the summer months asap… sorry about that. Lazy. -jd

We’re back and Stuff…

So I just wanted to say hello to everyone and sorry for not writing the last couple weeks. We took a little time off to work on our new record and take a bit of a vacation. We start back this week at the Mercury Lounge in Tulsa. One of our favorite spots! I even got a little something tattooed on my arm today to commemorate previous trips to that bar…
We are wrapping things up on the the new record this month as well… or should I say records… we’ll see… I think we may have a summer surprise for you though… let you know soon!
