Hey friends,
Last week was full of some great shows! Mick’s was packed so thanks to all you Omaha people that found time to make it out! I hope you enjoy the new Mix Tape EP. Byrons in Pomeroy was also a blast! It was the first small town bar we’ve played at where the crowd wanted to hear something other than 80’s covers! Thanks for opening minds Byron! Then we did a last minute show with Cross Canadian Ragweed at People’s. They’ve been one of my favorite bands for a long time. For awhile I thought they were going nashville on me and getting soft but they totally proved me wrong! Man, they rocked! Cody is a killer guitar player too for those you who dig a mean lead! Thanks for the hook up Tom. Why am I in such a good mood… weird.
This week should be a good one too! …provided it doesn’t rain. We’ll be in Okoboji at the gardens on Saturday and we’ll be bringing a new sound guy along for you girls to eyeball… Then on Saturday we will be headlining the DM Arts Festival downtown. There are lots of great bands playing but don’t burn yourself out before our set! We’ll have our new EP with us for sale along with new t’s and our past CDs. Its a family friendly event so bring your kids and rest assured that I won’t cuss up a storm and make you regret it! See you soon! -jd

Hello music fans,

See you this Friday at Micks in Omaha??? Hopefully!!! We’ll be doing the full band again this time but just a bit more acousticish than our normal show these days. Looking forward to another fun night there though as usual. Everyone tell someone new! Its not a huge place but I would love to see it wall to wall. Just be careful with the candles on the tables… I don’t want that place turning into another “Great White” show…

Saturday we’ll be in Pomeroy, IA at Byron’s Pub (not too far for you Nebraskans… ) We’ve never been there before but I’ve heard great things about the place! We’ll have our new EP “Mix Tape” along with us for sale!

Hello,
Hope you are all safe and dry finally or at least in a really nice boat! Sorry for the cancelations last week but it wasn’t up to me… God had other plans it seems.
We’ll be in Omaha this week on Friday at Micks. Full band… just a little stripped back. Then we’ll be putting on our show at Byron’s in Pomeroy, IA. Its our first time there but I’ve heard its a great place. Todd Snider even stops through there. If you don’t know who Todd Snider is well…. I’m sorry for your sheltered life. Sunday is a special day for AK’s in Beaverdale. Ben Wagner will be in town and he’s put together quite a show for you all! There will be many guest singers including myself and others from Authentic Records. There’s a silent auction and proceeds go to help a great cause! Stupid water and stuff…

Hey everyone,
I’m sad to say that tonight’s show at People’s is canceled… They are asking people to evacuate downtown voluntarily right now but it sounds as if it will be mandatory before long. The good news is we have several more Des Moines shows coming up and we will be making up the People’s date but not until July 19th it sounds like. i will post as soon as I know for sure. The new EP “Mix Tape” is up for sale on authenticrecordsonline.com if you were looking forward to picking up a copy tonight.
Also, we may be hopping on the Cross Canadian Ragweed show on June 22nd at People’s. Don’t miss out! That will be a killer night of music! Stay tuned… I will post as soon as I know about the July 19th date and the Ragweed show at People’s! Probably later today! If you are looking for something to do, Randy Burke will be playing a solo show at Jimmy’s on 8th street at around 6:30. Go buy him a shot! See you out there!
